Job Title: Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide support to our financial planners and wealth managers in the administration and paraplanning aspects of their work.

This is a key role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

About the Role:
  • Paraplanning Support: Assist financial planners with preparing Statements of Advice (SOA) documents, performing daily checks on client emails, and providing general administrative support.
  • Portfolio Administration: Reconcile investment portfolio transactions, record manual entry holdings, reconcile trade summary reports, and execute corporate actions for distribution entitlements.
  • Liaison with Clients: Obtain source documentation from clients, identify compliance breaches, and contribute to the setup and reinforcement of internal control procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning Support: Provide assistance with financial planning reviews, rebalancing client accounts, and booking client appointments.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, respond to inquiries, and update client data in the system.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform ad-hoc assignments, maintain client files, and perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
  • Diploma of Financial Planning or RG 146 Certification qualification is a plus.
  • Relevant work experience in paraplanning or client services roles with practical skills in preparing SOA documents is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in dealing with clients, financial advisors, and wealth managers.
  • Operational experience in XPLAN, Coin, and Midwinter is a plus.
  • Superior knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, and attention to detail.
