The role of Senior Bookkeeper is a critical position that requires strong leadership and expertise in financial management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, and preparing and analyzing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the organization's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Review and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to maintain accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts and provide financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in Australian bookkeeping required.
  • Xero Certification an absolute must.
  • Payroll Taxation and Month-end Reports Preparer a plus.
