Automation Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our organization. As the backbone of our automation efforts, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and various APIs (JIRA, Basecamp, and others).

  • You will partner with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
  • You will build and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  • You will connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • You will develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • You will create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
  • You will monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
  • You will maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience with n8n workflow automation.
  • You should have strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration).
  • You should be skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • You should have hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting is a plus.
