Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Management Expert to join our team at Funtomato Consultancy. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate management and reporting of our fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring all asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded and compliant with company policies and industry standards.
  • Oversee the proper tagging, categorization, and tracking of all physical and intangible assets, ensuring alignment with GAAP or IFRS standards.
  • Review and approve asset capitalization and depreciation schedules, accurately calculating and recording depreciation expenses in the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of the fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed fixed asset reports for financial statements and management, including asset summaries, depreciation expense, and net book value.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or finance, preferably within the online gaming, hospitality, or integrated resort industry.
  • Proven experience in fixed asset management, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with asset audit processes and conducting physical verifications.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and fixed asset management modules.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS standards related to fixed asset accounting and reporting.
Knowledge and Soft Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, asset life cycles, and asset categorization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as tax implications for fixed assets and compliance with asset-related internal controls.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
