Cloud Security Lead

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Professional to champion a culture of security from code to cloud and lead our compliance efforts with government regulations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to government cloud security compliance efforts, including NIST 800-53, FIPS 199/200, and continuous monitoring frameworks. They will also possess expertise in AWS security services, such as IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and Security Hub.

The role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional written and spoken communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are highly valued.

  • Lead NIST 800-53 compliance programs and ensure rigorous standards for protecting government data are met.
  • Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure aligned with NIST 800-53 controls, primarily on AWS.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership on security strategy and develop training materials to raise internal security awareness.
