About This Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead our clients' cloud security efforts.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who can implement and optimize cloud security solutions across complex client environments, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design secure cloud architectures.

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and optimizing cloud security solutions, serving as a technical mentor and escalation point for junior engineers, collaborating with architects and stakeholders to design secure cloud architectures, designing and implementing security controls across Azure services, monitoring and responding to security incidents using Log Analytics and SIEM tools, supporting identity and access management initiatives, developing and maintaining security documentation and best practices, contributing to automation efforts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and participating in security assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Azure security tools and services.
  • A strong grasp of cloud security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident remediation techniques.
  • Familiarity with third-party IAM and security tools.
  • A working knowledge of Azure Networking, Compute, and Storage services.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • A strong understanding of identity and access management in Azure environments.
  • The AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification is required.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments is a plus.
  • The SC-200: Security Operations Analyst Associate certification is strongly desired.
  • The SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator Associate certification is strongly desired.
