Cloud Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design and develop cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud automation, engineering, and architectural design.

The role requires strong programming skills, with a focus on Python, React.js, and JavaScript. Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and Terraform for infrastructure automation is also required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing AWS-based infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure automation using CDK and Terraform.

  • Building robust, scalable applications and tools using preferred programming languages.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems.

  • Researching and staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in cloud distributed systems and generative AI technologies and methodologies.

  • Taking ownership of cloud and platform engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, securely, and in accordance with organizational standards.

  • Understanding corporate toolsets and providing recommendations for architectural designs, while ensuring compliance with internal governance frameworks.

  • Serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to other team members.

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster continuous improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive AWS expertise, including experience with cloud automation, security best practices, and architectural design.

  • Proficiency in programming, with a demonstrated history of developing and maintaining custom solutions.

  • Strong experience with Python, React.js, and JavaScript.

  • Hands-on experience with CDK and Terraform for infrastructure automation.

  • Proficiency in Amazon Bedrock, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for developing AI solutions.

  • Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.

  • Familiarity in security and compliance within cloud environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based environments.

  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience leading technical projects and mentoring team members.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, or AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
