Appliance Repair Technician

This is a key role that requires working with small appliances that have electrical or electronic components. Examples of such appliances include rice cookers, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, and blenders.

The primary responsibility of the technician is to examine, identify, and fix any issues with these appliances. To ensure optimal performance, preventive maintenance is also an essential aspect of this position.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for this role.

  • Examine and repair small appliances with electrical or electronic components.
  • Perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure they operate at peak levels.
  • Use testing equipment and hand tools to replace or fix damaged parts.
  • Create detailed reports that outline components used, repairs made, and time spent on each task.
  • Provide clients with technical guidance on appliance maintenance and usage.
  • Collaborate with the service supervisor to prioritize tasks and order necessary parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of corporate tools and customer appliances.
  • Test appliances before releasing them to consumers to guarantee proper functioning.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
