About Cybersecurity Compliance Role

This cybersecurity analyst position plays a key part in the company's security delivery team. The role involves designing and implementing tailored cybersecurity protocols to support client security journeys. The analyst assists vCISOs with security assessments, technical implementation projects, provides security education, and conducts regular phishing tests for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist vCISOs in executing security program elements and projects such as risk assessments.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their operations and tailor security policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the security education platform.
  • Design and deploy phishing tests to clients regularly.
  • Provide compliance audit readiness support as required.
  • Provision, implement, and manage Vanta or a similar GRC platform for clients.
  • Develop tools and techniques to automate tasks and compress human-intensive efforts.
  • Document best practice procedures for commonly used technologies.
  • Identify system misconfigurations and provide recommendations for clients.
  • Capture metrics highlighting key activities, accomplishments, and blockers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in Security Technologies, Information Security, Business Resilience, Technology Risk, or related fields.
  • External-facing client experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve challenges and overcome roadblocks.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and internal audiences.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations, Security Engineering, and Information Risk Management.
  • Report writing skills, including spelling, grammar, word usage, and summarization.
