E-commerce Web Designer Role Overview

This Senior E-commerce Web Designer position is a unique opportunity to design and optimize high-converting e-commerce websites and user experiences across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows that guide customers through the buying journey using data-driven decisions.

The role requires a high-level designer with a proven track record in CRO-focused design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results-driven designs.

Responsibilities:
  • CRO-Driven Web Design
  • Create high-performing e-commerce websites with conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Develop engaging landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows.
  • Apply conversion-focused design principles to maximize revenue from existing traffic.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a senior e-commerce web designer with a portfolio showcasing CRO-driven websites.
  • At least some e-commerce samples demonstrating measurable conversion improvements.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Elementor, and Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles for e-commerce.
  • Ability to analyze conversion rate, bounce rate, and cart abandonment rate using tools like Google Analytics and heatmaps.
  • Strong grasp of customer journey mapping, calls-to-action, and responsive design elements.
  • Ability to recommend impactful product page improvements with rationale.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple design projects.
