Senior Accountant Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's general ledger, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, identifying trends and preparing reports summarizing the financial position of the company.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of seven years post-CPA qualification experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Excellent English communication skills (speaking, writing, comprehension).
  • A university degree with an average score of 80% or higher; transcript required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in fund administration, preferably within financial services or fund management companies, is a must-have.
