Building Integration Expert

This is a key position responsible for delivering high-quality fault detection and diagnostics products to clients and partners.

  • Deliver first-class fault detection and diagnostics solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on onboarding projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytics.
  • Perform onboarding activities such as installing data collection services, discovering data, and setting up systems for building integration engineers.
  • Assist in troubleshooting diagnostics for automated fault detection on customer HVAC equipment.
  • Review and validate software results reported by the system.
  • Train and engage customers and partner users on data transfer services, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
  • Provide ongoing support for connected sites.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual with ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Effective communication with clients and partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or 5-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of BAS protocols like BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Understanding of BAS networking principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with automated commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement, and verification is a plus.
  • Metadata applications knowledge, such as tags and standards (e.g., Project Haystack), is beneficial.
