Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and implement comprehensive test strategies that drive business success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product risks and customer needs, informing the development of well-reasoned test plans
  • Apply a risk-based approach to testing, prioritizing test coverage logically and consistently to maximize business impact
Manual & Exploratory Testing
  • Design and execute manual tests to validate product functionality, identifying defects and areas for improvement
  • Analyze requirements, business risks, and edge cases to inform feature decomposition and test planning
Technical Testing & Tools Proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, and testing methodologies
  • Database data analysis and query optimization for deeper issue investigation and resolution
  • API testing, logs analysis, and server-side debugging to ensure robust and reliable solutions
Self-Sufficiency & Decision-Making
  • Independent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask informed questions to refine assumptions
  • Analyze complex information beyond pattern-matching approaches and make data-driven decisions based on business and technical contexts
  • Proactively identify gaps in testing processes and propose innovative solutions to address them
Process Improvement & Collaboration
  • Effectively manage test cases and contribute to improving test management processes to drive efficiency and quality
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases that meet business objectives
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools
