We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Platform Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in optimizing Ubuntu for the latest hardware platforms.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platform-oriented software stacks, integrating next-generation features and performance enhancements, and ensuring a common operating experience for our users.

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers to deliver high-quality design and code.
  • Oversee commercial engagements and support timely delivery on agreed project milestones.
  • Participate as technical lead on complex customer engagements involving complete system architectures.
  • Implement disciplined engineering processes and integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Exceptional academic track record and undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM.
  • Fluency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux and operational systems software, Debian/Ubuntu or other distro packaging.
  • Leadership experience in software engineering teams and ability to drive healthy engineering practices.
  • Professional written and spoken English and confidence to respectfully speak up and exchange feedback.
