Job Title: Medical Review Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Review Specialist to contribute to our team's efforts in pharmacovigilance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data entry, quality control, and medical review of vigilance cases.

The selected individual will be responsible for entering data into relevant databases according to established conventions, conducting quality control checks on vigilance cases and associated documents, and performing medical reviews of cases in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, the Medical Review Specialist will follow up on outstanding cases via phone and mail, perform pre-analysis of complex cases before data entry, identify submission requirements for safety cases, and assist in the implementation and maintenance of processes related to pharmacovigilance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Pharmacist or Life Sciences degree with more than 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance
  • Strong understanding of GVP, GCP, FDA, and regulatory requirements related to drug safety
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse event reporting, and causality assessment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines
