Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cold formed steel structures using STRAP software.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D geometry files in AutoCAD.
  • Perform complex calculations for loads, deflection, and stresses.
  • Develop and recommend optimized section properties based on material availability and tensile strength.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, designs, and drawings for estimate basis.
  • Provide expert technical advice and assistance to the sales department and project engineers during installation.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to analyze actual behavior of installed cold formed framing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed civil engineer with significant experience in structural design.
