Accounting Manager Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Accounting Manager will provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting, with at least three years in a managerial or supervisory function. Experience in managing teams focused on providing shared services capability is highly desirable.

  • Develop and implement accounting methods, internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial reports to management within agreed timeframes and formats.
  • Review income statements and notes to financial statements, analyzing all pertinent financial information as necessary.
  • Manage processors and validators responsible for day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least six years of work experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop team members and champion positive team spirit.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience in SAP or other ERPs/specialty solutions is highly desirable.
