We are seeking a skilled Climate Change Sustainability Specialist to join our team at SGV & Co. As a key member of our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team, you will play a crucial role in advising organizations on strategies to address environmental challenges and integrate sustainable practices into their operations.
Our CCaSS team is growing, and we are looking for talented professionals who share our passion for sustainability and climate change. If you have experience in forestry, environmental science, or a related discipline, and possess knowledge on forest inventory management, biodiversity assessments, and ecological monitoring, we encourage you to apply.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on strategies to reduce their environmental impact and improve their sustainability performance.
- Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement nature-based solutions projects.
- Support the development of technical reports and provide recommendations on carbon certification standards.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in sustainability trends and carbon accounting standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in forestry, environmental science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of forest inventory management, biodiversity assessments, and ecological monitoring.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting standards and relevant national and international programs.
