Energy Transition Advisory Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and agile professional to support our growing Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team.

About the Role:

  • Support client-related engagements in Energy Transition with a focus on decarbonization, renewable energy and distributed energy solutions, energy storage solutions, e-mobility, sustainable fuels, and regulatory and policy frameworks governing them.
  • Analyze energy outlooks and emerging trends to understand transition blockers and enablers.
  • Help clients develop strategies to integrate sustainability into their business operations, risk management systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and synthesize trends, technologies, and policies on energy transition topics.
  2. Support tasks related to energy sector opportunities.
  3. Contribute to activities that enhance SGV's climate change and sustainability services practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in energy engineering, chemical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or environmental science/engineering.
  • Working knowledge of decarbonization, renewable energy and distributed energy solutions, energy storage solutions, e-mobility, sustainable fuels, and regulatory and policy frameworks governing them.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand, analyze, interpret, and derive insight from complex quantitative data.
