Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Senior Risk & Control Analyst to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you'll provide critical support in the effective management of Operational Risks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring business incidents, conducting independent investigations, and recommending remediation plans.
- Supporting the onshore Risk team with KRI reporting and other risk-related tasks.
- Performing risk and control assessments to identify significant risks and controls in business processes.
- Acting as a risk champion and advocate to enhance the Global Control framework.
- Developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their risk profiles and core processes.
- Providing audit support and consultation to Investment teams as needed.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A university degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Finance.
- Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or ASCI are highly valued.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in internal or external audit or risk management.
- Familiarity with Asset and Wealth Management industries or Custodian Banks is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively.
