Job Title: Vendor Risk Management Expert


This is a highly sought-after role where you will work with clients to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and cybersecurity challenges. You will advise on best practices in vendor risk management and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that solve customer problems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • You will participate in third-party risk management consulting engagements as part of our Supply Chain Defense business
  • You will support Third Party Risk Workshops at our Clients focused on Vendor Identification, Stratification, On-boarding, Monitoring, Remediation and Cybersecurity Risk Questionnaire Development
  • You will deliver projects and programs, including project and process management, reporting, engagement in senior leadership meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management and other governance activities
  • You will communicate findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, best practices, tools and technology
  • You will develop mature standard operating procedures for customers to optimize utilization of our offerings
  • You will enable business development in renewal, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining client trust
  • You will create repeatable processes and frameworks portable across clients and industries to accelerate future implementations
  • You may need to travel to clients as requested

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred
  • Familiarity with encryption fundamentals and network design required
  • At least 2 years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management consulting, including vendor cybersecurity risk, at a reputable firm
  • At least 3 years leading an enterprise risk management program, including Third-Party Risk, Internal Risk Maturity and Assessment, Risk Consolidation, and Risk Reporting
  • Information security/cybersecurity accreditation and background
  • Experience working in a cybersecurity or technology organization
  • An entrepreneurial nature and drive for results
  • Clear communication and writing skills
  • The ability to conduct deep client discovery to uncover root cause problems and build trusted relationships
  • The ability to design programs and solutions with minimal guidance and oversight
