Financial Statement Analyst

We seek a seasoned accounting professional to fill this critical role. Key responsibilities include bank reconciliation, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients.
Additionally, the successful candidate will review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies. This includes producing monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as needed/requested.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare accurate bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a diverse client base.
- Review general ledger account activity to maintain financial statement integrity and adherence to established accounting standards.
- Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as required.
- Demonstrate expertise in internal controls and segregation of duties to drive consistent implementation of best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Stay current with industry developments by engaging with relevant publications and educational resources.
- Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, particularly during month and year-end periods.
- Recommend cost reduction strategies and revenue enhancement initiatives.
