The successful candidate will be responsible for translating English content into Tagalog, ensuring accurate localization and adherence to industry standards. They will work closely with the project management team and other translators to deliver high-quality translations within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Translating English content into Tagalog, adhering to provided guidelines and instructions.
  • Developing and maintaining glossaries and style guides for consistent terminology and formatting.
  • Creating characterization documents to ensure accuracy and consistency in translations.
  • Revising translations as needed, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Meeting productivity targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
Requirements
  • At least one year of solid experience in translation and localization, preferably with video games or similar industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of business software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ideal knowledge of MemoQ or TMS software (Plunet/XTRF).
  • Strong communication and organization skills, with a positive attitude and 'can-do' mindset.
