About the Role

This is a full-time position with an ASAP start date. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-volume clients and be proficient in using various accounting software including Reckon, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records for a portfolio of clients efficiently.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Prepare and file BAS, IAS, and other compliance reports on time.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian tax laws.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for clients promptly.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to clients.
  • Liaise with clients to address queries and provide financial advice.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AU accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proven experience with Reckon, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of clients efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
