Job Title: Dean of Faculty

The role of the Dean of Faculty is to oversee all college activities with a focus on student satisfaction. This involves conducting evaluation procedures to assess teaching performance and ensuring that faculty members meet required standards.

  • Detailed Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Prepare schedules of courses for presentation to management for approval;
  • Supervise instructors handling professional courses;
  • Ensure instructor qualifications and competence meet required standards;
  • Recommend applicants for vacancies as instructors in the College;
  • Assist administration in conducting faculty evaluation;
  • Recommend recruitment, retention, and separation of faculty members;
  • Allocate teaching loads for instructors handling subjects in professional courses;
  • Facilitate changing course schedules due to time conflicts, room assignments, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Candidate must possess a Master's Degree/Doctoral degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience at college level;
  • Licensure: If applicable;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective teaching and interaction with students and colleagues;
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed for effective collaboration with students, faculty, and staff;
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to ongoing professional development are also important.
