A full-time, independent contractor role is available for an accounting professional with expertise in e-commerce financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Perform monthly closing procedures and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Monitor inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant systems to optimize performance.
  • Manage invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely and efficient communication with vendors, clients, and team members.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, such as Finance or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a US accounting firm with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, as well as G Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes, demonstrating adaptability and technical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to interpret financial data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
