Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions at scale.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cash posting from various banks and financial institutions on a daily basis.
  • Posting from multiple lock boxes every day.
  • Month-to-month or week-to-week cash to accounting reconciliation.
  • Designing a comprehensive reconciliation process around the lock box process.
  • Reporting and analysis of cash receipts and volumes.
  • Customer updates and remittance information review and maintenance.
  • Performing account reconciliations, investigating inquiries, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with customers, billing department members, and account managers.
  • Regular reporting to direct supervisors.
  • Collaboration with account managers and senior management for customer complaints and payment issues resolution.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management. IT services industry experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • An associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • A detail-oriented and goal-driven individual with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
