About the Role:

This position requires a highly skilled pharmacist who can compound and/or dispense prescription medications, provide pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, and monitor customers' drug therapies to avoid interactions. You will also be responsible for preparing medicine when necessary, maintaining accurate records, and complying with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Review and execute physician's prescriptions to ensure appropriateness and legality
  2. Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to facilitate easy product identification and retrieval
  3. Maintain full control over delivering, stocking, and labeling medicine and other products
  4. Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
  5. Prepare medicine when necessary using correct dosages and materials for each individual patient
  6. Keep accurate records of patient history and all activities related to heavy medication
  7. Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Education: Registered Pharmacist
  • Skills: Technical expertise in dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands, etc.; outstanding computer knowledge and skills; excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
  • Experience: Relevant experience in pharmacy operations and customer service
  • Personal Qualities: Integrity, compassion, and geographic flexibility
