About the Job:

The Training Operations Lead drives improvement in training effectiveness by overseeing programs. This line management position has direct reports consisting of Trainers responsible for training development and delivery across multiple accounts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the training strategy provides for comprehensive staff induction and accreditation meeting client, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivers a calendar of training events as agreed upon by Service Excellence and Operational Directors, including technical skills, regulatory compliance, management development, and business materials.
  • Interfaces with clients to support knowledge transfer and agrees on materials and accreditation processes where required.
  • Conducts needs analysis and identifies emerging requirements, ensuring they are reflected in training plans via agreement with clients and operational managers.
  • Identifies updates to current content or develops new BAU learning content in conjunction with client and operational needs.
  • Closed-loop communication with Quality and Performance Management teams is ensured.
  • The design and launch process of high-quality content aligning with Vertex branding is managed.
  • New training content evaluation occurs before and after launch to ensure intended business outcomes are met.
  • Maintains quality of training delivered through observations, evaluations, coaching, feedback, and development of the team.
  • Knowledge of L&D best practices is updated, improving client experience and increasing team effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of contact center training programs.
  • Excellent training development and delivery skills.
  • Minimum three years' documented success in a leadership position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High level skills in productivity tools, including Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and specialized monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field strongly preferred; minimum requirement is a high school diploma.
