IT Leader

This role oversees end-user IT services, infrastructure, hardware, and applications globally, ensuring resilience, performance, and alignment with business goals. The IT Director is responsible for defining and implementing IT strategy, driving digital innovation, and ensuring the delivery of secure, efficient, and compliant IT services.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals and departmental OKRs.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies to ensure efficiency, security, and up-to-date capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Lead IT compliance, ensuring adherence to industry certifications (ISO27001, ISO9001, SOC) and data protection requirements.
• Assess and recommend new technologies to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation.
• Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Monitor IT metrics, performance indicators, and service levels; report to senior leadership.
• Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for IT services, software, and hardware.
• Manage stock levels to ensure availability of IT equipment and resources.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT management.
• Manage the acquisition and development of IT talent to support technology initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or related work experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years in IT management, including leadership roles.
• Must have stable employment history.
• Experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Demonstrates strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, compliance, and emerging technologies.
• Manages large-scale IT projects from planning to implementation.
• Applies IT governance, risk management, and compliance best practices.
• Thinks strategically and solves problems proactively.
• Balances innovation with practical decision-making.
• Manages budgets and resources efficiently.
• Leads and manages teams effectively.
• Clear and coherent both communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
