Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned OT platform professional to join our team in the Natural Resources industry. This role offers flexibility for remote work from Southeast Asia.

  • This is a mid-senior level, full-time position in the consulting and IT sector with opportunities for growth in mining and IT services.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Implementation and Maintenance: Design and maintain OpenShift clusters in on-prem production environments ensuring high availability and scalability.
  2. Secure Tunneling Solutions: Develop secure tunneling solutions for deployment instructions between network levels adhering to defense-in-depth strategies.
  3. Air Gap Transfer Strategies: Establish air gap transfer strategies for code and artifacts minimizing risk and maintaining compliance standards.
  4. Humanitec with ArgoCD Integration: Implement Humanitec with ArgoCD for GitOps-style deployments considering on-prem networking constraints.
  5. Environment Setup: Create staging environments that accurately mirror production on-prem systems in AWS for seamless testing and validation.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust defense-in-depth strategies across all Purdue Model levels.
  7. Change Management: Establish robust change management processes for on-prem deployments ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  8. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Design backup and disaster recovery strategies appropriate for each Purdue Model level ensuring business continuity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Mandatory Requirements: A strong background in air-gapped and segmented network architectures; experience with secure artifact management preferably JFrog Artifactory; understanding of on-prem limitations (disconnected, latency, bandwidth constraints); experience with manual deployment processes and change control; familiarity with vSphere and on-premises virtualization.
  2. Desirable Skills and Experience: Understanding of the Purdue Model and ISA-95 standards; experience with mining or heavy industry operational environments; experience with industrial control systems and SCADA environments; knowledge of redundant system design for high availability; understanding of industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.); experience with staging/production environment separation in OT; knowledge of industrial cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443); knowledge of OT-specific security requirements and compliance standards.
