Security Threat Expert

Protecting digital assets and information from cyber threats demands a thorough understanding of security risk assessments, the development of effective security measures, and a proactive approach. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:- Threat Analysis and Monitoring: Identify and analyze potential security threats by monitoring system logs, network traffic, and security tools, staying up-to-date on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and recover from reported security breaches.
- Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, minimum 1 year of experience.
- Fundamental log analysis and troubleshooting skills, strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems, team collaboration, and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts effectively.
- Advantageous: relevant technical certifications.
