Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

This role involves managing network security infrastructure to safeguard the customer's network.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage firewall devices, develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
  • Perform network troubleshooting using strong TCP/IP networking skills to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Respond to inbound requests for technical assistance with managed services.
  • Document actions in cases to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.

Requirements:

  • Requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts, including threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and network protocols.
  • Working knowledge of VPN technologies and network architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Palo Alto PCNSE and/or Cisco CCNA or CCNP Security certification highly desirable.
  • A passion for information security and data security.
  • Multiple certifications in Security/Networking.

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a security discipline or a related field is preferred.
