Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team as a Senior Ruby Software Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability in software deliverables.

About You
  • You have 5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong background in Ruby projects.
  • You have hands-on experience with planning and improving observability and monitoring processes, and experience with Grafana/Prometheus is a plus.
  • You have extensive experience integrating external APIs, a deep understanding of distributed systems principles, and experience working with microservices and/or service-oriented architecture.
  • You have a deep understanding of Kubernetes from a software engineering perspective, experience working with public cloud providers (GCP is preferred), and in-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational database principles.
  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, and have a passion for designing robust REST APIs.
