AU Tax Accountant Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to prepare and lodge accurate financial statements and tax returns for clients in Australia, including companies, individuals, and trusts.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Australian taxation standards, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and provide clear communication to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations
  • Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations to ensure compliance across accounting and taxation services
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to provide updates and address queries
  • Ensure timely lodgement of tax returns, regulatory submissions, and other compliance documents
  • Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned, including support for audits or advisory services
