We are seeking a talented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing financial operations through process improvements, automation, system integrations, and administration.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Finance department to guide process enhancements, leveraging technology for increased efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with finance and payroll/payments teams to identify and implement process improvements, utilizing technology for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Maintain, configure, and optimize SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.
  • Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
  • Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and thorough understanding of work being undertaken.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, preventing recurrence.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years administering or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
  • Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes.
  • Experience operating in a consultative role to meet needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application to finance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High emotional intelligence and sense of humor.
