Senior Economist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Economist to join our Economic Research and Development Impact team. The selected candidate will contribute to research work on policy-relevant issues and support the development impact of our operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct applied research to assess and improve development impact at project and program levels.
  • Provide analysis to enhance development impact through selected project or country teams.
  • Support internal reviews and provide substantive advice on development impact of our projects and programs.
Key Requirements
  • PhD in Economics or related fields with strong background in empirical analysis and policy-focused research.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated independent research capabilities.
  • Evidence of high-quality research output and record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Technical knowledge, analytical, and conceptual skills in economics.
  • Understanding of institutional context, strategies, and objectives of multilateral development banks.
