We are seeking a diligent Accounts Officer to provide essential support in our daily finance operations while we transition to a new ERP platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role is required.
  • A strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have intermediate accounting knowledge and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are required, with confidence in phone-based customer and supplier interactions.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations is essential.
  • Collaboration with a third-party outsourcing partner managing finance functions is also required.
  • Daily communication across the finance and sales teams is expected.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers.
  • Exposure to Xero or other accounting platforms is desirable.
  • Experience working within a business undergoing system change or ERP migration is preferred.
  • Reports directly to the IT and Finance Systems Manager.
