Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Description

As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing wired and wireless network solutions. You will assess and improve current network infrastructure individually and as a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network solutions that meet client requirements
  • Collaborate with project management office to develop project schedules and manage variations
  • Configure, test, and execute network cutover to ensure delivered solution is scalable, secure, redundant, and dependable
  • Assist network provisioning and field services engineers for WAN services configuration, testing, and cutover where required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a network engineering role
  • Previous role with an IT&T system integrator, professional consulting services, internet services provider or similar organization
  • Current certifications in Fortinet Firewall/SD-WAN (FCSS), FCP (Switching and Wireless), and/or Aruba Switching/Wireless Stack (ACSA, ACMP) or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 other vendor network-related industry certifications
  • Strong knowledge and industry experience across a range of networking technologies including vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco/Meraki, HP-Aruba, and Palo Alto
  • Industry experience working within the ITIL framework (ITIL certifications highly regarded)
