Lead Modeler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lead Modeler to join our team. This role will involve setting modeling standards, ensuring the quality and accuracy of models, and executing plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce structural drawings and create Revit models that meet quality standards.
  • Execute advanced model execution tasks, including complex geometry, model detailing, takeoffs/target value models, and special conditions/complex family creation.
  • Work closely with the project team to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and coordinate tasks related to client coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associates or combined education and experience.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design.
  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in structural design.
  • Experience in mid-sized structural projects ($5M - $50M).
  • 3+ years Revit Experience.
  • Working knowledge Tekla, and SDS/2, and/or StrucSoft highly preferred.
  • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed.
