Key Responsibilities
  • Contact customers to collect outstanding payments or resolve overdue accounts in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Negotiate payment plans and arrangements to settle debts, taking into account individual circumstances and financial situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, payments, and account statuses, ensuring seamless tracking and analysis.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies or disputes on accounts, utilizing your analytical skills to identify root causes.
  • Evaluate compliance with company policies and legal regulations during collection activities, upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing or account issues, fostering open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team collection targets, demonstrating your ability to drive results-oriented performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in collections, customer service, or a related field (preferred), showcasing your expertise in handling diverse customer interactions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to effectively engage with customers and navigate complex situations.
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy, upholding the company's commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA), ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Proficiency in using billing software, databases, and spreadsheets, streamlining your workflow and enhancing productivity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred), indicating a solid foundation in education and personal development.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously, demonstrating your capacity for self-motivation and adaptability.
