Key Responsibilities:
- Handle loan processing for home loans from fact-find to settlement, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.
- Specialize in document checking, file preparation, and ensuring application services before submission to lenders, adhering to Australian lending regulations and lender guidelines.
- Review client documentation, including income statements, credit reports, and financial records, to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
- Liaise with lenders, clients, and third parties to collect necessary information and ensure smooth processing, maintaining excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Track loan applications, follow up on outstanding conditions, and provide status updates to stakeholders, utilizing CRM software effectively.
- Ensure accurate client records and manage document storage securely, adhering to data protection protocols.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing broker calendars, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in marketing efforts, such as client follow-ups and database management, to drive business growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with senior credit specialists and in-house mortgage brokers to deliver tailored lending solutions, identifying opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- Manage end-to-end processing for loan applications, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must hold or be willing to work towards obtaining CERT IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Prior experience in mortgage broking, banking, or financial services is required, showcasing a proven track record of success in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processing and lending guidelines is essential, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data are critical, along with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is required, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
