Business Financial Analyst Specialist

Job Overview: As a Business Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for scrutinizing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions. Your role involves collecting and analyzing variance reports and rolling forecasts, as well as preparing and submitting monthly Rolling Forecast Reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collects and analyzes variance reports and rolling forecasts of various departments for presentation to top management.
  • Coordinates with project owners on contract, billing, and costing matters, and monitors CAPEX and OPEX budgets and utilization.
  • Prepares and submits timely monthly Rolling Forecast Reports, including presentation material packages that assess profitability and financial performance.
  • Provides analysis and explanation of financial performance against prior year and budgets, progress against key corporate metrics, and pertinent financial highlights at the company level.
  • Crafts and disseminates templates and forms for budgeting and financial planning, and supports the implementation of budgeting procedures.
  • Coordinates departmental budgets and examines budget estimates and adjustments for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with budget policy.
  • Initiates preparation of re-forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year financial plans, ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
  • Maintains enterprise financial planning and budgeting systems, provides technical support to budget preparers, and supports implementation and evolution of financial planning technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and planning, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and budgeting software and systems.
