Operations Manager Job Description

This role oversees warehouse operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the warehouse team, analyzing data to optimize operations, and implementing new processes to improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage warehouse operations to meet company policies and objectives.
  • Conduct studies and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives through analytics and market insights.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management, reverse logistics, and maintenance operations.
  • Ensure SLAs are met and manage overall warehouse performance.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly, including key metrics and cost reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in management consulting, warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Excellent leadership skills with strong analytical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
