Real Estate Accounting Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Accountant to manage the company's financial transactions, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize accounting software to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts using financial management tools to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting
  • Extensive hands-on experience with accounting software (required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
