Senior Technical Drafter/BIM Modeler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to support architectural and engineering projects through precise drafting and 3D modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
  • Interpret sketches, specifications, and design intent to produce accurate technical documentation
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Update and maintain drawing sets and BIM files throughout project lifecycle
  • Assist in clash detection, quantity take-offs, and visualization tasks
  • Ensure adherence to company drafting standards and BIM protocols
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or BIM modeling in a professional setting
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, SketchUp, ArchiCAD)
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, layout planning, and elevation detailing
  • Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials
  • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g., BIM 360, Microsoft Teams, Zoho Projects)
Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with problem-solving abilities

Preferred qualifications include experience in remote drafting or international projects, knowledge of rendering tools, familiarity with project management platforms, and exposure to workplace safety and operational compliance standards.
