Financial Modeling and Reporting Specialist

This role will play a pivotal part in developing and refining financial models, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of investor reports. The individual will collaborate closely with various teams to achieve this goal.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Produce project level variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams.
  • Identify and investigate underperformance opportunities leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Prepare reporting packages and deliverables for investors and lenders.
  • Work with operational teams to ensure effective management of key alerts and mitigate operational risk.
  • Develop data infrastructure to enable team to analyze key performance drivers such as energy rates, production metrics, and other relevant factors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives within and outside your organization.
  • Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERPs like NetSuite.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
