Job Title: Senior Project Contract Manager

">Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Contract Manager to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong contract management skills, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

This position will be based at the project site in Ilo Ilo and will report directly to the Project Manager. The successful candidate will have experience working with consortia and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the contract management plan and ensure full deployment and application by the project team.
  • Prepare, update, and monitor the obligations register.
  • FOLLOW UP WITH THE PROJECT MANAGER AND THE PROJECT TEAM ON A DAILY BASIS TO ENSURE TIMELY FULFILLMENT OF PROJECT'S OBLIGATIONS.
  • Spreading awareness amongst the project team.
  • Review of daily basis communications exchanged at all levels.
  • Ensure Contractual reporting.
  • Preparing and proposing contractual correspondence.
  • Preparing responses to all contractual correspondence.
  • Preparing contractual notices, claims, and pursuing the same.
  • Manage Subcontract Contract Management.
  • Anticipate risks of claims and setting defensive strategies.
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of professional experience as Project Contract Manager.
  • Experience working on Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects.
  • Fluent in English (very good speaking and writing skills).
  • Demonstrable ability to interpret conditions of contract.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for contractual risks identification.
