Blockchain Network Engineer Job Description

This role is focused on building and maintaining blockchain networks and protocols. The successful candidate will work on improving the current infrastructure, including security, automation, and monitoring.

  • Design and implement secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues
  • Perform system administration activities for Linux servers, which includes routine, proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system procedures and guides
  • Stay up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices
  • Develop and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all systems operated

The ideal candidate should have experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer, ability to program in one or more languages, experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements, and designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures.

The team is looking for someone who has flexibility, teamwork, and is comfortable with ambiguity, able to take charge and get things done despite the unknowns.
