Job Title: Blockchain Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain blockchain networks and protocols. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will work on improving our current infrastructure including security, automation, and monitoring among other things.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Development: Design and implement secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect and mitigate performance and security issues.
  • System Administration: Perform routine and proactive daily management of Linux server health, stability, and availability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
  • Risk Management: Stay up to date and build on peer-to-peer networking security best practices. Create, maintain and communicate threat models + risk assessments for all systems we operate.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc/BA degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer.
  • The ability to program in one or more languages like Python, GoLang, Bash or Javascript.
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements.
  • Designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Setting up and maintaining software in both data centers and cloud environments.
  • A deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security.
  • Building automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.
